Darraglynn Nursing Home is a purpose-built facility in Douglas, Cork. We care for 26 residents in our single-story building, set in mature landscaped gardens. We are currently looking for someone reliable and flexible to join our household team.

Role description:

We are seeking someone to work primarily in conjunction with the cleaning team, deep cleaning different areas of the building on a weekly basis. From time to time, the candidate will be required to cover holidays.

As such, full flexibility is required.

Cleaning;

• Deep cleaning of all communal areas and residents’ bedrooms
• Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the home
• Taking responsibility for safe use of cleaning products
• Following infection prevention and control guidelines and procedures
• Showing understanding and respect towards all residents and relatives

Requirements:

• Availability to work flexible days, including weekends
• Cleaning experience in healthcare setting preferrable but not essential
• Willing to participate in mandatory training (Infection Prevention and Control, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, etc)
• Be able to work as part of a team and on their own initiative

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: €15.50 per hour
