Subject: Social Studies – Around the World
Schedule: Mondays, 8:30 AM – 2:00 PM
Location: Laguna Woods, CA
This is a 1-day/week position for the remainder of the school year, with strong potential to grow into a 4–5 day role next school year.

Creative STEAM is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit learning center offering an innovative alternative to traditional schooling. We serve TK–8th grade students in small-group, hands-on project based learning environments that emphasize curiosity, exploration, and real-world skills. Our programs are supported by community partnerships, fundraisers, and scholarships that expand access to meaningful education.
Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic, warm, creative and experienced Kindergarten teacher who loves making learning engaging and joyful. You’ll guide young learners through an interactive social studies curriculum while supporting early literacy, math, and social-emotional development in a nurturing environment.
Responsibilities
Create engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons

Teach beginning reading and math skills

Support social-emotional growth and classroom community

Use a variety of instructional methods and hands-on learning

Communicate effectively with families and staff

Assess student progress and developmental milestones

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and Multi-Subject Teaching Credential
Strong understanding of child development and classroom management

Excellent communication skills

Experience in elementary education and curriculum development
