Job Responsibilities:
- Preparation of meal ingredients, which includes washing, cleaning, peeling, cutting, and chopping fruit, vegetables, poultry and meat, marinating ingredients, and preparing sauces.
- Ensure that food items are prepared according to standardized recipes and portion sizes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workstation.
- Adhere to food safety standards and regulations.
- Maintain stock levels and report inventory needs.
- Menu Improvement: Provide input and suggestions for menu items and recipes based on experience and customer feedback.
- Other ad-hoc duties
Job requirements:
- Have initiative and hardworking with positive attitude to learn and contribute.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in kitchens
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
•Team-oriented and detail-oriented.
- Possess a valid food hygiene certificate.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $11.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 50 per week
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Early shift
- Late shift
Work Location: In person
