We are looking for a friendly and energetic Laundry Attendant to join our team at the Days Inn Regina - East.

Your Availability:

• Various days of the week (must be available to weekends and statutory holidays)
• Hours Required: 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

What You'll Do:

Laundry Attendant

• Operating the laundry processing equipment at a level of proficiency resulting in the acceptable level of cleanliness and supply of linen.
• Ensuring that bedding, towels, blankets, uniforms, and cleaning linens are washed, dried, and folded, on a daily basis.
• Cleaning the laundry processing equipment and laundry room on a regular basis.
• Performing other tasks as assigned by the Executive Housekeeper, such as vacuuming corridors, cleaning public or employee rest rooms, washing windows or checking rooms.
• Doing linen counts when requested as well as stocks the floors with linen.
• Complying with the hotels Occupational and Health Safety Guidelines and Regulations.

Your Background:

• A true desire to create a welcoming atmosphere in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent English speaking skills and the ability to start a conversation with guests.
• Food Safe Handling Course is an asset or we will provide certification for the right candidate
• Must have the physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight, walk and/or be on feet a majority of the time.
