Part-Time Mechanic (Small Plant & Class 1 Vehicles)

We are a small, family operated civil construction company based in Henderson, Auckland, specialising in infrastructure projects in and around Auckland. Our team is dedicated to delivering quality work while maintaining a strong focus on safety and efficiency. We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Part-Time Mechanic to join our team. This role is ideal for a retired mechanic or someone with a flexible schedule looking to stay active in the trade.

Overview: This part-time role is perfect for a retired mechanic or someone wanting flexible hours. You’ll handle maintenance and repairs for our small plant machinery (like compactors and concrete saws) and perform basic work on our class one vehicles.

What You’ll Do:

• Service and maintain small plant equipment such as compactors, concrete saws, and generators.
• Carry out basic diagnostics and repairs on company vehicles.
• Keep accurate maintenance records.

Job Type: Part-time

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week

Licence/Certification:

• Drivers Licence (Preferred)
