Part Time Medical Assistant

Hours: Approx. 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday + occasional Saturday morning.

We are a busy, family-centered pediatric practice looking for a part-time Medical Assistant to join our team. If you are passionate about providing exceptional care to children and families, we’d love to meet you!

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine clinical tasks such as taking vital signs and drawing blood (phlebotomy skills required).
• Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and prepared for patient visits.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, and the healthcare team.
• Document patient information accurately in electronic medical records (EMR).
• Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor to help put children and their families at ease.

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant Certification or equivalent training.
• High-school diploma or GED.
• Proficiency in pediatric phlebotomy and taking vital signs.
• Prior experience in a pediatric or family medicine setting is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a warm, approachable attitude.
• Compassionate, patient, and understanding of children and families' needs.
