Summary

We are seeking a skilled Part-Time Weekday Cleaner to join our team at The Manor Event Venue 2-3 days a week Monday - Friday.

This role is crucial in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of our venue, ensuring that every event meets our high standards of quality and service. Applicants must have a willingness to work and attention to detail!

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks to maintain a pristine environment throughout the venue.
• Ensure all areas, including restrooms and event spaces, are cleaned and sanitized.
• Handle floor care in all areas including sweeping & mopping
• Assist with setup and breakdown of event spaces as required.
• Dust all furniture and other fixtures as required.
• Ensure all windows and doors are cleaned and maintained.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations during events.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report shortages.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred.
• Familiarity with commercial cleaning equipment and techniques.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good communication skills to interact with team members effectively.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks throughout shifts.

The Manor has NO available public transit.
Ability to provide your own reliable mode of transportation is required.
We are located at 16750 Weston Road, King, Ontario. 15 minutes north of Wonderland, off of Hwy 400 between Lloydtown/Aurora Sideroad and Hwy 9, or 15 minutes west of Newmarket via Hwy 9.

Flexible hours and time off are available. Wage is negotiable.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 28 per week
