Inclusive Care Access Network is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Respite Worker to provide outings and recreation opportunities in the community with an adult living at home with family. As a Respite Worker, you will take him on outings of his choice. He is a wonderful young man who would like to enjoy what the world has to offer with someone with similar interests.

Responsibilities of General Respite with Limitless

• Provide personalized care and companionship to individuals with disabilities.
• Learn the preferences and desires of the person you are supporting, and seek community activities and experiences that they choose to take part in.
• Engage clients in recreational and social activities to enhance their well-being.
• Implement care plans tailored to each client’s unique needs.
• Monitor and document client progress and communicate observations to families and supervisors.
• Ensure a safe and supportive environment for clients.
• Transport clients to and from community activities (if required).

Qualifications

• Certification in First Aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A valid driver’s license, clear driver's abstract and reliable transportation is an asset.
• Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Checks are required.

SPECIFIC TO THIS CLIENT:

• Must be available to pick up child from school at 2:00pm daily and bring them to their home until 5:00pm.
• Toileting is required
• Consistency and reliability is a must
• Experience working in the disability services field is an asset

Pay: $22.00 per hour
