Join our award winning team as a server at The Castle Restaurant The Castle is a family friendly restaurant located in the grounds of the stunning and historic Blackrock Castle. Recently accredited as a Great Place To Work and an employer excellence award by Failte Ireland. Our kitchen uses the best local ingredients to create delicious dishes for our guests and we even have our own greenhouse for produce. Our bar serves a wide range of drinks including our own brewed beers, selected wines & delicious cocktails. We provide great value in an unforgettable setting with friendly service always.

Your average day will include:

· Being an enthusiastic, friendly team player whilst serving our guests.

· Making recommendations to our guests to enhance their experience in the restaurant.

· Consistently meeting and aiming to exceed guest expectations.

· Effectively managing your own section of tables.

· Growing your product knowledge to be able to answer any and all questions from guests.

· Helping guests navigate our menus if they have dietary requirements.

· Setting up/Closing down the restaurant to procedural standards.

· Responding quickly to requests from guests, colleagues and managers whilst being accurate and approachable.

· Maintaining a professional image at all times.

· Keeping your section clean, organised, sanitised throughout your shift.

· Following procedures as laid out by manager and in training.

· Passover to colleague on following shift.

Successful Candidates:

Have experience in a similar fast-paced and professional hospitality environment.

Have solid product knowledge and a passion for food & drink.

Are self-motivated, yet willing to ask for help when needed.

Are able to follow procedures, and offer ideas for any improvements.

Are passionate about providing excellent customer service.

Are fully eligible to work in Ireland as per current Irish Immigration Laws.

Have proficiency in English.

Are able to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Have strong interpersonal skills and are effective team players.

Pay strong attention to detail.
