Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated individuals with a vehicle for the position of Part Time Snow Clearing. This role involves maintaining safe and accessible outdoor areas during winter months by effectively clearing snow and ice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to operate various tools and equipment necessary for snow removal.
Responsibilities
- Operate power tools and hand tools to clear snow from driveways, sidewalks, and other designated areas.
- Maintain landscape features by ensuring that snow does not damage plants or structures.
- Dig out areas as needed to facilitate effective snow removal.
- Build and maintain snow barriers as necessary to manage snow accumulation.
- Ensure all cleared areas are safe for pedestrian and vehicular traffic.
- Follow safety protocols while working in winter conditions to prevent accidents or injuries.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
Experience
- Previous experience in landscape maintenance or snow clearing is preferred but not required.
- Mechanical knowledge is a plus, particularly in operating and maintaining power tools and equipment.
- Familiarity with garden maintenance practices can be beneficial in understanding the impact of snow on landscaping.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various weather conditions.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.45-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 10 per week

Education:
- Secondary School (preferred)
Experience:
- Landscape maintenance: 1 year (preferred)
