About the role:
We are seeking a Part-Time Stylist to join our team at our Paddington Boutique! This position offers an exciting opportunity for you to showcase your passion for styling and customer service in a luxury fashion retail environment.

Responsibilities include:
Brand & Product Expertise

• Exemplify and share V&W’s heritage and commitment to sustainable, modern design with every visitor.
• Master the technical details of our core fabrications and seasonal collections to provide meaningful styling advice.
• Actively engage with training materials to stay updated on new arrivals, styling and garment care.
• Consistently develop product knowledge and adjacent areas of expertise.
• Consistently embody the V&W purpose, pillars and values, acting as a living representation of the brand’s minimalist luxury.

Client Experience, Relationship Building & Sales Performance

• Connect with clients in an engaging way to provide an exceptional and memorable experience.
• Highlight product categories through exceptional product knowledge, using storytelling to cross-sell and upsell.
• Provide an excellent customer experience both on and off the floor: greeting, listening, assisting, advising, following-up, and exceeding expectations.
• Maintain a balance between presence on the shop floor and engaging in clienteling initiatives.
• Engage with a diverse client base, always putting them at ease to develop long-lasting relationships.
• Maintain regular connection with clients via email, phone, messages, personalised notes and other client treatment initiatives including internal and external events.
• Develop and grow your client book, keeping client information updated and complete on relevant company tools.

Teamwork & Collaboration

• Work collaboratively with the team to achieve daily budgets and maintain a positive, high-energy store culture.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve store budgets and resolve client issues proactively together.
• Keep management informed of client feedback, stock needs, and any operational hurdles in a timely and professional manner.
• Demonstrate agility and entrepreneurial spirit to build the business, adapt to changing contexts, and seize new opportunities.
• Attend store meetings, training sessions, and company events as required.
• Embrace V&W’s training initiatives and strive to implement any new skills, knowledge on-the-job.

Store Presentation & Operations

• Actively participate in visual merchandising in accordance with Viktoria & Wood’s visual standards.
• Maintain products in an efficient, clean, secure, and organised manner, both front and back of house.
• Maintain a vigilant and organised floor to minimise stock loss and ensure a secure shopping environment.
• Provide feedback to store management regarding any stock opportunities and/or stock losses to ensure that products and stock levels are maintained.

Key Requirements:
Skills & Knowledge

• Understanding of retail POS systems (AP21 would be desirable).
• Fluent in English; an additional language is an advantage, particularly Mandarin.
• Skilled in building and managing customer experiences within a retail setting.
• Passion for design, craftsmanship, and customer service.
• Proven track record of achieving individual goals and contributing to team results.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Results-driven with a commercial mindset, while maintaining a collaborative, team-player attitude.
• Positive, energetic, and adaptable.
• Inclusive and open-minded.
• Attention to detail.
• Demonstrates initiative and is self-motivated.
• Ability to work independently and collaborative as part of a team.
• Ability to manage time and competing priorities effectively and efficiently.

Experiences

• Minimum 1-3 years customer service experience, preferably in an industry that delivers personalised/elevated client service experience (luxury environment would be desirable)
• Cash Handling or POS experience
• Stock Management Experience

• Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service and build strong client relationships;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and
• Must be available Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays.
