RAPS is Seeking a Part time Support worker to assist an individual with a Profound Intellectual Disability (E35)

Location: South Edmonton

Days: Monday 12pm-3:30pm

_ Tuesday 9am-3:30pm _

_ Wednesday 9am-12pm _

_ Thursday 9am-3:30pm _

_ Friday 9am-3:30pm _

Job Description: Duties include but are not limited to: playing, prompting, re-directing, and encouragement with independent life skills and new learning opportunities, supporting on outings, personal care, feeding assistance, supervision and companionship.

**Please note this is a scent free, pet-free, nut-free environment**

Qualifications and Other Requirements: The successful candidate must have a clear criminal record check containing the vulnerable sector, valid First Aid & CPR Certificate (or be willing to obtain shortly after acceptance of employment), be a non-smoker, speak fluent English.

Having a driver’s license and vehicle and experience with individual’s who have a profound intellectual disability is considered an asset. Full training provided to the successful candidate.

Rate of Pay: $25.00/ hour
