Overview:

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic individual to join our team at our Regent Mall location. As a pretzel maker, you will be responsible for creating delicious pretzels and providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities:

- Prepare, Bake and Decorate pretzels: Prepare a wide variety of menu items following Mr. Pretzels signature recipes or special customer orders, bake mixed doughs and batter, frost and decorate pretzels, and using high-quality ingredients.

- Ensure quality of products meets established standards

- Draw up production schedule to determine type and quantity of goods to produce

- Package Pretzels for Display and Sale: Carefully package pretzels for display and sale, ensuring they are presented attractively and maintain freshness.

- Customer Service: Work at the cash register, provide outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting customers with their orders, recommending menu items, and answering any inquiries related to the menu.

- Maintaining Cleanliness: Ensure that the work area, equipment, and utensils are clean, sanitized, and in excellent condition. Adhere to food safety guidelines and regulations.

- Menu Knowledge: Be knowledgeable about Mr. Pretzels’ menu, including the different varieties, toppings, and customizations available to guide customers in their selection.

- Upselling and Promotions: Actively engage with customers and promote special offers or seasonal items to enhance the overall customer experience.

- Inventory Management: Monitor supplies and other ingredients while assisting with inventory management and stock replenishment

Requirements:

- Willing to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

- Comfortable handling cash transactions and operating a cash register.

- Excellent personal hygiene and adherence to health and safety regulations.

- Must have a flexible schedule, full availability during summer, able to commit at least 3 shifts per week.

- Must have excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner

- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds

- Previous experience in a similar food service role, preferably in a fast food or bakery setting

- Strong knowledge of food handling, preparation, and safety practices

- Ability to meet store operating policies and standards, including providing quality beverage products, cash handling and store safety and security

- Ability to perform many different tasks within the store during each shift

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

- Willingness to learn

- Positive team player

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.90-$16.50 per hour
