We are a team of molecular biologists studying transcription regulation in human cells using biochemistry, molecular cell biology and functional genomics techniques. Our ongoing work focuses on the regulation of transcription and mRNA stability by SPOC domain proteins and their relevance for neuronal differentiation and neuronal disorders.

About the position
The position is available from January 2, 2026 until April 30, 2027 with the possibility of extension. The contract is for 20 h/week with the salary of 1.349 brutto (14x per year).
Candidates
Successful candidates should
- Hold a BSc or MSc degree in Biology, Biotechnology or Biomedical Sciences;
- Have experience in cell culture and molecular biology techniques (e.g., cloning, RT-qPCR, western blotting);
- Experience with microscopy, flow cytometry, and protein purification is advantageous.
We are looking for a team player with willingness to acquire new skills, collaborate and support various projects. Excellent organizational and communication skills are essential, as well as a good command of the English language.
