The executive is responsible for sourcing and engaging potential partners and donors for the non-profit organization, managing charitable donations, fundraising campaigns, and donor outreach. They also oversee membership programs, maintaining accurate records and fostering relationships with members and stakeholders, while supporting community events and initiatives.

The Challenges
Fundraising & Donor Engagement Responsibilities:
- Manage donor relationships by setting up structured engagement processes and maintaining donor databases.
- Provide administrative support for fundraising activities, including planning and executing campaigns such as charity carnivals, flag days, charity dinners, online initiatives, and other events.
- Prepare donor letters and promotional materials for fundraising campaigns.
- Assist in establishing guidelines for donations and ensure adherence to statutory fundraising protocols and compliance screenings.
- Maintain and update donor databases, including working with vendors for system enhancements.
- Process donations and collaborate with internal stakeholders to administer donations in compliance with charity governance and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare management reports to evaluate fundraising campaigns and donation impact, ensuring timely submissions to program sponsors.
- Collaborate with the Marcomms team to create marketing and publicity materials to support fundraising initiatives and outreach events.
Membership Relations Responsibilities:
- Oversee the membership lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, and renewals.
- Act as the primary point of contact for members to enhance their experience.
- Manage communication with members, review applications, and maintain an accurate membership database.
- Develop and enhance member benefits and services to add value to the membership experience.
- Plan logistics and support the organization’s Annual General Meetings (AGM) and Extraordinary General Meetings (EOGM).
- Organize and coordinate membership events, including managing registrations and fee collections.
- Collaborate with Marketing & Communications to promote membership benefits and events.
- Work with Volunteer Management to coordinate outreach programs for members.
- Prepare management reports as needed.
What it takes :
- At least 2 years of experience in membership management, donations, fundraising, or related event support roles.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with online design tools for creating promotional materials.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends for fundraising and membership events.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a knack for engaging stakeholders at all levels.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Comfortable with databases and generating reports with confidence.
- Proactive, self-driven, and a strong team player who thrives in both collaborative and independent settings.
