Role
This is an exciting opportunity to develop your career within one of Ireland’s most influential business groups. It will provide you with the platform to work and engage with international and global businesses involved in the US-Ireland economic relationship.
The Partnerships Executive will support the delivery of AmCham’s partnership and membership growth objectives, with a primary focus on new member acquisition and the retention and development of sponsors and strategic partners, reporting to AmCham’s Director of Partnerships.
This is a relationship-focused role requiring strong commercial awareness, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work across internal teams to deliver high-quality partnership outcomes.
The role is primarily based in Dublin with travel as required.
Key Responsibilities
Member Acquisition & Sponsorship Development
- Identify and engage prospective AmCham member companies aligned with AmCham’s strategic objectives.
- Support the development and retention of corporate sponsors through proactive relationship management.
- Deliver presentations and meetings to prospective members, clearly communicating AmCham’s value proposition.
- Maintain an accurate pipeline of prospective members and sponsorship opportunities using AmCham’s CRM system.
Relationship Management
- Act as a key point of contact for assigned sponsors and prospective members.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with senior executives and decision-makers.
- Support sponsors in activating agreed sponsorship benefits and engagement opportunities.
- Collaborate with relevant colleagues to identify opportunities to deepen sponsor involvement across AmCham activities.
Commercial & Financial Support
- Contribute to membership and sponsorship growth
- Assist with invoicing and sponsorship reporting.
- Engage with AmCham’s membership team to monitor engagement levels of sponsors and newly onboarded members to support value delivery.
Internal Collaboration & Reporting
- Work collaboratively with the events and communications teams to deliver partnership objectives.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and prepare regular reports on member acquisition and sponsorship activity.
- Provide updates and insights to the Director of Partnerships to inform planning and decision-making.
Person Specification
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience in partnerships, sponsorship, membership development, or relationship management roles.
- Experience working with key stakeholders in a membership, or corporate environment.
Desirable: 1-2 years relevant post qualification experience.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Commercially focused with the ability to identify and develop growth opportunities.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines.
