As the Tourism Partnerships Leader, you will oversee the planning, management, and implementation of various projects and partnerships that enhance visitor experiences, support sustainable land use, and foster strong community connections.
Responsible for the management of camping sites and day use areas within the region, this role requires a leader with strong communication and creative thinking skills who can balance operational demands, strategic planning, and relationship-building with all stakeholders.
We would love you to have / be:
- Tertiary qualifications in natural resource management, environmental management, forest management or relevant fields.
- A self-starter attitude with the ability to manage a diverse workload and set priorities effectively.
- Proven experience in overseeing complex projects from planning to execution across a large geographic area.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate changing public and stakeholder expectations.
- A track record of successfully engaging with communities to build trust and foster collaboration.
- A talent for forging and maintaining collaborative relationships across various sectors.
