Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Parts Administrator to join our team. The Parts Administrator is responsible for inventory, procurement, and administrative processes for parts and supplies required for F.R.I.E.S. to provide repair and maintenance service to our clients' commercial food preparation equipment. Responsible for tracking stock levels, processing orders, managing supplier invoices, handling warranties, and maintaining data and inventory accuracy within our system. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, experience in parts procurement and distribution, working in a warehouse and familiarity with supply chain and procurement processes. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your skills in data entry, customer service, and systems management will be highly valued.
Key Responsibilities
- Inventory Control: Maintaining, auditing, and organizing inventory levels, including counting, receiving, labeling and storing parts.
- Order Management: Placing, tracking and monitoring parts and supply orders.
- Documentation and Billing: Generating, reconciling, approving and filing invoices, packing slips and freight documents.
- System Maintenance: Updating inventory database with accurate part numbers and stock data.
- Procurement: Researching part suppliers and responsible for price negotiations to ensure we are getting best market price.
- Support: Liaising with Customers,Account Managers, Dispatch and Service Technicians to supply necessary parts for repairs promptly.
Requirements
- Previous experience in parts, warehousing, and inventory management is required. Experience within commercial food service equipment industry an asset.
- Strong data entry skills with proficiency MS Office and inventory management systems.
- Experience in purchasing, sourcing, negotiation, and procurement processes.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with suppliers, technicians and vendors.
- Customer service orientation with a professional attitude.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new systems and procedures. This position is ideal for candidates who thrive in fast-paced environments and are eager to contribute to operational excellence through effective administration and resource management.
- Must have the ability to lift up to 25 pounds without assistance.
Pay: $42,000.00-$48,000.00 per year
