Our client is seeking a Parts Sales Representative to join their team in Acheson, AB. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, proactively solving problems, and driving sales success. What You’ll Do:
- Facilitate a positive customer experience by promptly handling all parts inquiries with professionalism and courtesy.
- Sell parts, answer customer questions, and discuss specifications to meet customer needs.
- Manage inventory levels, ensuring they align with company guidelines.
- Maintain clean and organized parts facilities and displays.
- Oversee the parts purchase order process, including documentation and tracking promised delivery dates.
- Ensure all manuals and parts guides are current, acting as a liaison with manufacturers.
- Adhere to company policies, including health and safety regulations.
What We’re Looking For:
- Must-Haves:
- Sales experience in a dealership (automotive or heavy equipment) environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience in tooling or equipment sales.
- Knowledge of arborist tools or prior experience in this industry.
- Service knowledge from working as a technician.
- Personal Attributes:
- Customer-focused with a positive, outgoing attitude.
- Adaptable, willing to learn, and able to handle constructive feedback.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required.
- Journeyman or apprentice parts technician preferred.
- 2+ years of sales experience in relevant industries.
Software Experience:
- Proficiency in MS Office, EBS, and in-house parts catalog software.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary range: $50,000 - $85,000 per year + bonus.
- Benefits package after 3 months (health, dental, vision, employer-paid).
- RRSP match of 2.5% after 3 months.
- Vacation: 2-3 weeks.
Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, in-office environment.
