The Parts Order Associate is a position that will be responsible for the timely and accurate preparation of parts proposals, order processing and document control, providing the best order fulfillment experience possible. With a focus on operational excellence and customer satisfaction, the Parts Order Associate will ensure that customer orders are managed with a combination of speed, quality, and accuracy. Working with the sales team and other functional areas to help problem solve and proactively mitigate potential issues in support of JCMI customers worldwide.
Essential Duties:
- Prepare parts proposals in coordination with sales team and customers
- Liaise with various departments to ensure timely and accurate delivery of parts order quotes to customers
- Order entry into Infor Cloud Suite ERP system
- Keep customers proactivity informed about the status of their orders
- Maintain a high degree of accuracy and completeness on Order Due Dates, ensuring current information is maintained in the ERP system
- Document control
- Work with freight forwarders in obtaining freight rates for project proposals
- Provide ongoing sales support based on various needs, history, lead times, etc.
- Provide coverage and support to other Pars Order Associate.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Self-starter requiring minimal supervision to accomplish assigned tasks.
- Ability to multitask and reset priorities as demands change
- Ability to work independently and in a team, in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent analytical and organization skills to ensure the accurate and timely completion of assigned responsibilities
- Ability to work cooperatively and professionally with Sales Representatives and other functional areas to provide the most complete and comprehensive support possible
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Products; Word/Excel/PowerPoint, with advanced Excel skills
- ERP experience in a manufacturing setting is considered an asset
- An understanding of customs compliance and documentation is considered an asset.
Education and/or Experience:
· High School Diploma or Post-Secondary Education
· Minimum of 3 years work experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $40,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
