To continue growing our light automotive brands, we are seeking an experienced Parts Sales Representative to drive sales across our Mercedes-Benz, Toyota, Isuzu UTE, GM-ACDelco and Mahindra Parts operations. Description:
About the Role
Reporting to the Logistics Manager, you will develop new business opportunities while maintaining and growing existing customer accounts throughout your territory.
This field-based role involves regularly visiting customers, prospecting for new business, identifying growth opportunities, and increasing parts sales across Mercedes-Benz, Toyota, Isuzu UTE, and Mahindra product lines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales growth and achieve sales, gross profit and market share objectives.
  • Identify, prospect and secure new trade, fleet and mechanical workshop customers.
  • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of prospects, converting opportunities into long-term purchasing customers.
  • Retain, develop and grow existing customer accounts through proactive relationship management.
  • Promote Mercedes-Benz, Toyota, Isuzu UTE and Mahindra genuine parts and accessories.
  • Identify and increase multi-brand purchasing opportunities across all Patterson Cheney product lines.
  • Conduct customer visits, presentations and business development activities, maximising visits to mechanical workshop customers.
  • Build strong relationships with workshop owners, service managers and key decision-makers.
  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends to increase market penetration.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and ensure all customer visits and opportunities are recorded within Field Force.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service while acting as a professional ambassador for Patterson Cheney.
Skills and Experiences:
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • Previous experience in automotive parts sales, business development or account management.
  • Strong automotive industry knowledge.
  • A proven ability to win new business and grow existing customer relationships.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities.
  • Confidence working autonomously in a field-based sales role.
  • Experience using CRM or dealer management systems.
  • Current and valid driver's licence.
Automotive parts experience will be highly regarded; however, candidates with strong B2B sales experience and a passion for the automotive industry are encouraged to apply.
