Job Summary:
We are seeking a Parts and Service Advisor to join our team at an automotive dealership. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service, sales, and automotive repair. As a Parts and Service Advisor, you will be responsible for assisting customers with their vehicle service needs and ensuring a positive experience.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assist them with scheduling service appointments
- Listen to customer concerns and accurately document issues
- Provide recommendations for necessary repairs and maintenance
- Order required parts for repair through our list of qualified vendors
- Communicate with the service team to ensure timely completion of work
- Manage customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner
- Process payments and handle cash transactions
Requirements:
- Prior experience in customer service, preferably in an automotive or dealership setting
- Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell services
- Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Mechanical knowledge or experience working as a mechanic is a plus
