Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Pasteurizer Operator to join our food manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient pasteurization of food products, maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of food processing and manufacturing processes, with an emphasis on quality control and safety compliance. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment focused on producing high-quality food products that meet industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate pasteurization equipment to process food products according to established procedures and safety standards
- Monitor temperature, pressure, and flow rates during pasteurization cycles to ensure product safety and quality
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to identify maintenance needs or malfunctions
- Maintain accurate records of processing parameters, batch numbers, and production data in compliance with HACCP and CGMP guidelines
- Perform sanitation procedures on equipment and work areas to uphold strict hygiene standards
- Follow all safety protocols related to food processing, machinery operation, and sanitation practices
- Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure compliance with food safety regulations and industry standards
Qualifications
- Knowledge of HACCP, CGMP, and food safety regulations is essential
- Experience in manufacturing or food processing environments preferred
- Mechanical knowledge related to processing equipment is a plus
- Familiarity with sanitation procedures and maintaining cleanliness standards in a food production setting
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in food production
- Prior experience working in the food industry or related fields is desirable but not required
License and Certifications
- Must have or the ability to obtain a Milk Pasteurization Certification
- Be able to obtain a cheese-making license from the State of Wisconsin.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
