Job Overview
We seek a detail-oriented and motivated Patient Accounts Representative to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will manage patient accounts, ensure accurate billing and collections, and provide exceptional customer service to patients regarding their financial inquiries. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient care.
Duties
- Assist patients with understanding and navigating their healthcare financial responsibilities.
- Follow up on outstanding balances and resolve any discrepancies in billing.
- Respond to patient inquiries regarding account status, payment options, payment plans, and financial policies.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service and support the patients and their families
Experience
- Previous experience in financial counseling or healthcare administration is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and billing software is desirable.
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.02 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
