GenesisCare is looking for a friendly and organised Patient Services Officer (Medical Receptionist) to become a valued member of our team at our Fitzroy Clinic, located within St Vincent’s Hospital.

In this role, you’ll be the welcoming face of our clinic and often the first person our patients meet. You’ll play a meaningful part in supporting them through their care journey, offering warmth, reassurance, and professionalism in a busy yet rewarding environment. As no two days are the same, a calm and flexible approach will help you thrive.

This is a permanent, full‑time position.

More specifically, you will:

• Welcome patients and visitors, providing a warm, professional, and compassionate first impression

• Manage appointments, billing, and general reception tasks in a busy clinic

• Complete accurate data entry and maintain patient records

• Support the smooth day‑to‑day running of the clinic

• Work closely with the wider team to ensure a positive and efficient patient experience

We're interested in hearing from people who have:

• A friendly customer service approach with genuine care for patients

• Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks at once

• Confidence handling phone calls while balancing other responsibilities in a busy environment

• The ability to work independently while contributing positively as part of a supportive team

• Strong attention to detail, with a proactive and positive attitude when priorities shift
