Well established Family Practice Clinic , seeks an experienced service-oriented team member for our front desk/check in and check out areas/ business office . Candidate must have an upbeat, friendly, and confident attitude. Must be reliable, efficient, able to multi-task, be self motivated, organized, and an excellent problem solver. Ideal candidate must have strong communication skills.

Preference will go to a candidate with past medical office experience. Team members will be cross trained to other areas of the practice. Experience with Athena EMR a plus.

Requirements:

• Ability to handle difficult situations
• Excellent phone skills
• Greet patients professionally
• Complete and update patient registration
• Verify insurance
• Answering phones
• Scheduling appointments
• Data entry and scanning
• Collecting patient responsibilities and balances
• Working knowledge of medical terminology
• The ability to multi-task, prioritize and handle a high volume of patients
• The ability to work in a team environment
• The ability to interact professionally at all times with patients, providers and team members
• Maintains work area and lobby in a neat, orderly manner.
• Responsibility of locking and unlocking door daily.
• Knowledge of Medical Records is a plus
• Knowledge of how to process referrals is a plus
• Must be flexible and willing to work in multiple locations
• Professional references required
• Bi-Lingual is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
