About the Role

Sansaq is a growing swimwear and women’s wear brand focused on high-quality products for an international market.

We are looking for a hands-on Pattern Master & Sample Maker with strong technical skills in garment construction, pattern making, and prototype development.

This is a technical role, not a fashion designer position.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and develop patterns from sketches, references, or existing garments
• Modify and improve patterns to achieve better fit and structure
• Develop and sew prototypes independently
• Work with different fabrics including stretch and swimwear materials
• Ensure high-quality finishes aligned with international standards
• Participate in fittings and adjust garments based on feedback
• Guide and train tailors on construction methods and finishing techniques
• Support production to ensure consistency and quality

Requirements

• 1–5 years of experience in pattern making, tailoring, or sample development
• Strong knowledge of garment construction and sewing techniques
• Experience with industrial sewing machines (overlock, flatlock, etc.)
• Ability to create a full garment independently
• Good understanding of fit, proportions, and women’s wear sizing
• Experience with stretch fabrics / swimwear is a strong advantage
• Basic knowledge of pattern-making software is a plus

• Our products are developed for an international market (not the Indian market)
• Attention to detail and quality is essential
• English (spoken and written) is required

Compensation

Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹32,000 per month

Nice to Have

• NIFT graduate (only if technical skills are present)
• Degree/Diploma in Fashion Design (technical background preferred)
