Payment Poster – US Healthcare RCM
Location: Bangalore, India
Work Mode: Full-time | 5 Days WFO

About the Role
We are looking for a Payment Poster to accurately post and reconcile insurance and patient payments, adjustments, denials, and refunds in the billing system. The role requires strong knowledge of US healthcare revenue cycle management (RCM) and payment posting processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Post EOBs, ERAs, EFTs, and patient payments accurately into the billing system.
- Apply insurance payments, contractual adjustments, deductibles, copays, coinsurance, and write-offs.
- Identify and resolve payment posting discrepancies and unapplied/undistributed payments.
- Review EOB/ERA details and ensure correct payment allocation against claims.
- Process denials, zero-pay claims, underpayments, overpayments, and refunds as required.
- Reconcile posted payments with bank deposits and payer remittances.
- Identify duplicate payments, incorrect adjustments, and posting errors.
- Coordinate with AR, billing, and denial management teams to resolve account discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow client-specific payment posting guidelines.
- Meet defined accuracy, productivity, and turnaround-time (TAT) targets.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and US healthcare regulations.
Requirements
- 1–5 years of experience in US Healthcare Payment Posting / RCM.
- Good understanding of EOB, ERA, EFT, CPT, ICD-10, and insurance payments.
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance preferred.
- Understanding of contractual adjustments, patient responsibility, and denial codes.
- Experience with medical billing software / EHR / RCM platforms.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and reconciliation skills.
- Good communication and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet productivity and accuracy targets.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with 835/ERA transactions.
- Knowledge of CARC and RARC codes.
- Experience handling unapplied cash and payment reconciliation.
- Knowledge of CMS-1500 and UB-04 claims.
- Familiarity with payer portals and remittance systems.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
