Your role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our team as a Payroll & HR Generalist (f/m/d). In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, compliance with regulations, and overall HR support. Your role will be characterized by a wide variety of tasks and a high degree of personal responsibility.

Your future tasks at a glance

  • Process payroll accurately and on time, including calculating wages, overtime, and deductions.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal payroll regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of employee attendance, leave, and other relevant information.
  • Handle payroll inquiries and discrepancies from employees in a timely and professional manner.
  • Posting of monthly salary, wage tax and social security payments for our German and Austrian companies in financial accounting
  • Assist with the administration of employee benefits, including enrolment, changes, and terminations.
  • Prepare and distribute reports related to payroll, benefits, and other HR metrics.
  • Maintain HR databases and employee files, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Support HR initiatives and projects as needed.

What you bring with you

  • Completed university studies or completed apprenticeship within a relevant field
  • Strong background/several years of experience in payroll accounting
  • Sound knowledge of social and employment legislation and continuous updating of knowledge
  • Confident use of standard payroll software, possibly experience of ERP systems
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize and execute without compromising quality
  • Very good verbal and written communication skills in English & German
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment and is adaptable to change
  • Attention for detail, service orientation
