Job Title: Payroll Analyst – Full Time
Job Purpose:
- We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Payroll Analyst to join our small, collaborative payroll team based in Ireland.
- This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in global payroll operations.
- The team is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of 19 payrolls across multiple countries, including Europe, Asia, and Canada.
- The Payroll Analyst will support end-to-end payroll processing, compliance activities, and continuous improvement initiatives, while working closely with internal stakeholders and external payroll providers.
- This is an in-office position, and the successful candidate will be expected to work on site five days per week.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support the end-to-end processing of 19 payrolls across multiple countries, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Collect, validate, and reconcile payroll input data (new hires, terminations, salary changes, bonuses, allowances, etc.)
- Work with local payroll vendors and internal HR teams to ensure payrolls comply with country-specific legislation and company policies
- Review payroll outputs, perform variance analysis, and resolve discrepancies
- Assist with statutory reporting, payroll tax filings, and year-end activities
- Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation in line with audit and compliance requirements
- Respond to employee payroll queries in a professional and timely manner
- Support internal and external payroll audits as required
- Contribute to payroll process improvements, standardisation, and documentation
- Ensure payroll data is handled in line with GDPR and data privacy requirements
- Perform ad hoc duties as required

Previous Relevant Work Experience:
- Basic understanding of payroll principles (tax, social insurance, deductions, gross-to-net calculations)
- Experience working with Excel (e.g. VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables)
- 1–3 years’ experience in finance operations, payroll, or a related role with knowledge of ADP Celergo and Workday HRIS preferred
Minimum Qualifications:
- Post Leaving Cert Qualification (Certificate or Diploma) in a relevant finance area
- Payroll or accounting qualification (or working toward one, e.g. IPASS, APA, ACCA/CIMA foundation level) preferred
