Job Summary
As a Payroll Associate in the HR Global Operations (HRGO) Team, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely delivery of monthly payroll in the Benelux region. You will conduct audits, ensure compliance with tax regulations, and provide excellent customer service by resolving payroll queries efficiently. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, evaluate processes for improvement, and maintain confidentiality in compliance with GDPR.

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate and timely end-to-end processing and delivery of monthly payroll.
  • Conduct regular audits of payroll records to ensure accuracy.
  • Ensure monthly tax payments and compliance requirements are met for Benelux Payroll.
  • Respond to and resolve employee payroll queries with a strong customer service ethos.
  • Collaborate with Finance and HR to ensure seamless payroll processing.
  • Partner with external payroll vendors for timely and accurate service delivery.
  • Evaluate payroll processes for continuous improvement and identify risks.
  • Comply with GDPR and maintain confidentiality at all times.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Minimum of 5 years of payroll experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Luxembourg taxation and payroll regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly MS Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Team player with a professional and proactive approach.
  • Ability to manage priorities and meet strict deadlines.
  • Proven ability to work independently with a broad range of stakeholders.
  • Proactive in raising issues and identifying opportunities for process improvements.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Experience with Apsal or other payroll software systems.
  • Fluency in French and English
