About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll & HRIS Coordinator to join our People and Culture team on a part time basis (32 hours per week, Tuesday to Friday). We are a fun team that operates at a fast pace, whilst always making sure we have a laugh together along the way.

In this busy, varied and hands-on role, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Processing weekly pay runs across Australia and New Zealand (and support monthly payroll processing where required)
  • Responding to payroll queries and assist with payroll administration
  • Assisting with payroll reporting and workers compensation payments/processes
  • Assisting with maintaining the HRIS system and troubleshoot user issues
  • Managing some administrative processes (i.e. probation reviews, visa checks, contract end date reminders)
  • Assisting with People & Culture reporting (i.e. WGEA, turnover etc)
  • Providing support to the wider team as required
Skills and Experiences:
About you

Are you someone with a ‘can do’ attitude who wants to grow their career within a fast-paced environment? Ideally you will be proactive with strong initiative and excellent problem-solving skills.

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Prior experience in a payroll position
  • Previous experience working with an HRIS system and confidence in troubleshooting user queries
  • Strong PC literacy - proficiency in Excel and Outlook (confidence in Excel reporting ideal)
  • Personable and friendly with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality
