The Opportunity

We’re seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Payroll Officer to join our Corporate Services team at our beautiful Belair location. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll for our dedicated employees.

Description:
Key Responsibilities

Accurate end-to-end payroll processing

Maintain employee master files and entitlements

Process superannuation, salary sacrifice, and terminations

Prepare monthly payroll reports and assist with FBT returns

Respond to payroll queries and provide advisory support

Ensure compliance with Fair Work Act, ATO, and other regulatory requirements

Support finance team with reporting, audits, and system upgrades

What You’ll Bring

Essential:
Minimum 3 years’ experience processing end-to-end payroll in a 24/7 rostered environment

Experience with payroll systems and interpreting awards and legislation

Strong Excel and Word skills

Ability to handle confidential matters with discretion

Exceptional communication, time management, and teamwork skills

Knowledge of Fair Work Act, NES, superannuation, and FBT

Desirable:
Cert IV in Payroll

Aged Care or Community Services experience
