Responsibilities Payroll
- Processing weekly payroll for approximately 90 salaried and hourly paid staff. Liaising with Operations Managers on same.
- Tracking & reporting on annual leave, sick leave, parents, parental, maternity, or other statutory leaves and the uploading/filing of supporting documents.
- Payroll submission to Revenue.
- Ensuring Company abide with Payroll legislation by reviewing BIK and other elements as/when required.
- Prepare payroll file for payment by bank transfer.
- Support team members and management of payroll queries from team members.
- Revenue Returns.
- Payroll reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Preparing for internal and external audits for payroll and liaising with auditors, if required.
- Month end journals and accruals for payroll.
- Balance Sheet reconciliation for payroll accounts.
- Other adhoc responsibilities as/when requested by FC and HRM.
About The Role
Education & Skills/Competencies Required
- Experience of processing/running payroll in industry or in a payroll bureau.
- IPASS or similar payroll qualification.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to review payroll data accurately.
- Experience with Sage Micro Pay, Timepoint & Microsoft Outlook, Excel & Word are essential.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn talent management systems.
