Payroll Support Officer, Payroll Production and Transformation
Clerk Grade: 3/4- Process payroll transactions accurately and on time in line with awards, legislation, policies and audit requirements.
- Interpret employment conditions, awards, legislation and policies to resolve payroll matters or escalate complex issues.
- Respond to payroll enquiries and service requests, delivering a positive customer experience.
- Participate in quality assurance activities to improve payroll accuracy and service outcomes.
- Support process improvement initiatives and contribute to new ways of working.
- Identify and report risks to support compliance and service excellence.
- Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to achieve team and organisational objectives.
- Experience in payroll processing within a medium to large organisational environment.
- Knowledge of payroll transactions.
- The ability to interpret awards, employment conditions, legislation and policies.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to explain payroll matters clearly and professionally.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Confidence using payroll, ERP and records management systems
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
Salary Grade XX, with the base salary for this role starting at $87199 base plus superannuation
