EXAMPLES OF WORKED PERFORMED FOR PDP WEB MERCHANDISER:

• Ensure items are available/unavailable, priced correctly, and displayed accurately;
• enter new product content (images, descriptions & specifications);
• work with employees across all departments;
• assist with any problems associated with web merchandise in conjunction with customer service;
• work on an organizational level with other departments to ensure customer needs are met;
• answer sales questions about web products, prices, availability, & transfers;
• recommend advertising opportunities based on web inventory levels;
• make informed decisions on where to place web merchandise;
• work closely with factory representatives to obtain product, collection & brand specific material to be used on the web;
• download/upload photography to product pages;
• attend weekly walk through to determine sales volume of merchandise on the floor (multiple locations);
• work closely with factory representatives to discuss sales;
• assist with periodic inventory counts;
• help locate or obtain merchandise based on customer needs;
• use excellent customer relations;
• any other duties as directed by management.

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS FOR PDP WEB MERCHANDISER: Ability to lift merchandise of 20 lbs; ability to communicate effectively with team members; ability to work with many levels of management, including ownership; ability to maintain upmost confidentiality regarding sales, product plans, advertising, etc.; positive attitude when working with customers; Must be at least 21 years of age with a valid Driver’s license with no more than 2 traffic violations or 1 chargeable accident within the past three years; knowledge of employment, safety, and merchandise handling procedures.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIREMENTS: To successfully perform the essential functions of the job, an employee must be able to perform the following: Stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, climbing, crawling, walking, pulling, lifting, talking, hearing/listening and repetitive motion.

Heavy Work: Lifting up to 20 lbs occasionally, and/or up to 10 lbs constantly to move objects.

Work Environment: Indoor, temperature controlled environment.
