Description:
About the role
As the People and Culture Business Partner for our International teams, you will support a number of business units within the organisation, providing advice, recommendations, initiatives and solutions across the employee life cycle.
This will include
- Lead development initiatives for business units - leadership, competency, compliance
- Manage and resolve employee relations issues, ensuring balanced people and business outcomes
- Partner with leaders to provide expert advice on effective solutions and organisational design
- Conducing onboarding and off-boarding, alongside People Operations team
- Conducting monthly payroll for China-based employees
- Creating employment documentation for China-based employees (in Mandarin)
- Participating in the recruitment process for international roles, ensuring alignment with company values and culture
- Assessing training needs within international teams and coordinating learning and development initiatives
- Providing guidance on compensation and benefits packages for international employees in line with industry standards
- Supporting organisational change efforts by communicating effectively with international teams and facilitating smooth transitions
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation relevant to international locations
This is a full-time in-office role based in Warriewood, on Sydney's Northern Beaches.

You are a strategic and relationship-focused People and Culture professional who is fluent in Mandarin and experienced in China mainland employment practices. With strong analytical and problem-solving skills, you excel at building trusted partnerships, influencing stakeholders, and delivering practical people solutions. You bring a forward-thinking approach to employment practices, strong project management capabilities, and the ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in a business partner or P&C role within the FMCG
- Demonstrated experience in implementing P&C strategies aligned with business objectives
- Proven track record of improving employee engagement
- Experience with change management initiatives in a corporate environment
- Keen understanding of talent acquisition, development, and retention practices
- A history of successful collaboration with senior leadership teams to drive organisational goals
