Description:
About the Role

This P&C Advisor role is a part time 20 hours per week at our Perth site, where you will be a trusted partner to leaders and employees, providing expert advice across the full spectrum of HR and OHS activities. You’ll play a key role in supporting our people strategy and ensuring compliance with employment legislation.

The hours are for this role are:
Monday 8.00am to 1.00pm

Tuesday 10am to 3.00pm

Wednesday 8.00am to 1.00pm

Thursday 10.00am to 3.00pm

Key Responsibilities:
Provide generalist HR and IR advice and support to managers and employees.

Assist with employee relations matters, including performance management, workplace investigations, EBA interpretation, and policy guidance.

Drive & control the end to end recruitment and talent acquisition process for the Perth Production team

Provide advice and support with OHS matters in line with legislative requirements

Coordinate workers compensation and return to work plans in consultation with the Safety team

Support managers with absenteeism and non-work-related injury cases.

Contribute to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

What you'll bring

Previous experience as a HR Advisor in a generalist role, preferably within a manufacturing / FMCG environment.

Strong knowledge of employment legislation.

Knowledge and understanding of OHS Legislation and implementation

Experience coordinating Workcover claims and RTW process

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and influence stakeholders.

Capacity to be adaptable, plan, organise and manage time effectively.
