Position: People Data & Insights Analyst | 0.6 FTE (3 Days Per Week)

Job Type: Permanent – Part Time

Location: Flexible location (Sydney or Brisbane preferred) - Hybrid (2 days office / 1 day home)

Skills and Experiences:
What You'll Do

• Conceptualise and launch interactive visual toolkits focused on key metrics like retention, compliance tracking, and hiring metrics.
• Deliver forward-looking data trends to cross-functional operational managers to mitigate talent risks before they affect operations.
• Synthesize multi-tiered analytical streams into simplified, clear summaries customised for quick consumption by executives.
• Guide our internal service teams on strategic target alignment by providing accurate localised staffing insights.
• Support reporting and analysis for key annual programs including WGEA, remuneration reviews, Career & Capability Reviews and workforce planning cycles.
• Assess the effectiveness of core talent initiatives, utilising metric models to judge the success of leadership portals like EDGE.
• Advance continuous improvement across our HRIS platforms, integrating smarter analytical tools, accelerating automated workflows, and elevating total reporting maturity.

About You

• Deriving genuine fulfillment from decoding statistics and helping internal peers understand exactly what the metrics are trying to say.
• Demonstrating an inquisitive mindset that naturally moves beyond basic data extraction to investigate trends and ask thoughtful questions.
• Pairing a meticulous eye for computational accuracy with great personal organisation when managing deadlines.

You’ll Likely Bring

• A proven track record within a dedicated people analytics, workforce planning, information systems, or corporate reporting function.
• High-level proficiency in evaluating analytical data and transforming those findings into compelling, actionable business recommendations.
• Practical background in building intuitive reporting formats, executive summaries, or modern data visualisations.
• Excellent presentation skills, with a demonstrated ability to talk through mathematical trends clearly with non-technical operations teams.
• Superb operational skills across contemporary software suites, human resource systems, advanced spreadsheets, or Power BI.
• Highly regarded professional familiarity inside People or HR reporting, operational businesses, workforce analytics, or service-based environments.
