The Opportunity
This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the way we operate and enhance the overall people experience for our Paloma Health team. You'll play a pivotal role in designing and implementing People processes, so your passion for building and streamlining systems will be essential. We’re looking for someone with exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a knack for keeping our team informed as we continue to grow and evolve.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- New Starter Onboarding and ongoing Compliance: Coordinate and facilitate onboarding for new hires, ensuring a smooth and welcoming start to their journey at Paloma Health.
- Oversee compliance tasks, including background checks, documentation, and regulatory requirements to ensure all new team members are prepared and aligned with company standards.
- Training systems management: Manage induction and training across our teams
- Employee engagement: Support and enhance employee engagement initiatives, fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture. Assist in organising team events, gathering feedback, and implementing improvements to the employee experience.
- Employee experience: Act as a point of contact for employees, providing guidance and support on various HR topics, such as benefits, onboarding, and professional development resources, to ensure a seamless and supportive employee experience.
- Guidance and policy writing: Draft, update, and communicate HR policies and guidelines, ensuring they are clear, accessible, and aligned with our clinical standards. Work with HR leadership to develop resources that help employees navigate their roles and understand expectations.
Required:
- Proven experience in HR or People Operations.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly in managing onboarding and compliance documentation.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to create clear, engaging, and well-organised policy materials.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Desirable:
- Experience within a regulated or healthcare setting.
- Demonstrated empathy and interpersonal skills, with a focus on employee support and engagement.

- Ensuring compliance with empathy: Working within a regulated clinical environment requires high standards, and the People Operations Associate will be responsible for balancing these standards with a compassionate, employee-focused approach. They will ensure compliance in a way that feels supportive, reducing stress around regulatory matters and creating a culture of trust and respect for professional requirements.
- Providing clear guidance and resources: Through effective policy writing and guidance, this person will make sure all employees have access to resources that help them understand our standards, policies, and benefits. By clarifying processes and expectations, they’ll empower team members to engage confidently and independently in their roles, which fosters a sense of autonomy and belonging.
- Strengthening a culture of inclusivity and well-being: As a key point of contact for employees, the People Operations Associate will cultivate a supportive atmosphere where team members feel safe asking questions, seeking guidance, and sharing concerns. This proactive support directly strengthens our culture of inclusivity, well-being, and growth by making every individual feel valued and heard.

Time commitment: Full Time
Location: Hybrid between our London office (3 days per week) and home
