Join our team as a Performance Reporting Specialist!
Are you passionate about organisational effectiveness and showcasing the impact of public spending? We have an exciting opportunity for you to lead and innovate within our Organisational Performance team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Outcome Measures: Lead the development of our Outcomes Measures and refresh non-financial performance measures for Budget 26, ensuring they are robust, meaningful, and aligned with our strategic goals. Utilise your evaluation skills to map operational activities to system-level and societal outcomes, ensuring our measures accurately reflect organisational performance.
- Grow and Develop Capability: Mentor and coach team members to enhance their technical abilities and knowledge in setting outcome and performance measures. Work collaboratively with others to improve the overall organisational capability, leaving a lasting impact to continuously iterate and improve our measures.
- Adapt to Emerging Needs: Take on additional responsibilities and tasks as required, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach to meet the evolving needs of the organisation and support delivery of outcomes.
He pukenga tou - Skills & Experience
- Public Sector Accountability: Expertise in public sector accountability requirements, including Annual Reporting, Strategic Intentions and Outcome Measures.
- Performance Measures: Proven experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining non-financial performance measures or indicators in the public sector, particularly in Crown Land management and/or as a regulator.
- Evaluator competencies: Experience in successfully using evaluator competencies of engagement at all levels in an organisation, systematic inquiry and project management to set meaningful and fit for purpose measures for an organisation.
- Reporting Standards: Experience in applying PBE FRS 48 Service Performance Reporting.
- Annual Reporting Best Practices: Knowledge of best practices to ensure service performance information is appropriate and meaningful.
- Collaborative Work: Experience working collaboratively across an organisation to align performance with Strategic Intentions and plans.
- Public Sector Awareness: Understanding of public sector developments and requirements, with the ability to advise on adaptations.
- Mentoring and Coaching: Proven ability to lead self and others, sharing skills and knowledge to develop and uplift organisational capabilities.
The annual full-time salary range for this role is $108,161 to $127,248 depending on skills and experience.
