ABOUT THE ROLE
Are you ready to make an impact by providing high-level executive support and a new professional challenge?
Euronews is seeking a proactive and highly organized Personal Assistant to support the Editorial Director, who also serves as the Interim CEO.
Based in our Brussels office, you’ll play a key role in facilitating the daily activities and strategic priorities of an executive leader in the fast-paced world of media.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
This list is not exhaustive
- Executive Calendar Management: Plan, prioritize, and adjust a complex schedule, aligning meetings and appointments with shifting priorities across both content and executive leadership demands.
- High-Level Coordination and Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for the executive’s office, facilitating communication between the Director and key internal teams, Board members, and external partners. Draft, review, and manage correspondence as needed.
- Travel and Logistics: Organize all aspects of domestic and international travel, including detailed itineraries, travel arrangements, and accommodations, ensuring efficiency and readiness for each trip.
- Confidential Information Management: Handle confidential information with discretion, supporting the Director in sensitive matters and safeguarding the confidentiality of all executive-level decisions and communications.
- Meeting Preparation and Follow-Up: Prepare agendas, organize necessary materials, take clear and concise minutes during executive and board meetings, and track follow-up actions to ensure accountability.
- Expense Management and Budget Support: Process expense claims promptly, assist with budget tracking for the Editorial Director and Interim CEO’s office, and liaise with Finance to maintain alignment on budget guidelines.
- Stakeholder Relations: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally, to support the Director in fulfilling leadership duties.
- Project Assistance: Support specific initiatives or projects as assigned by the Director.
DESIRED SKILLS AND EDUCATION
- Independent and Efficient Multitasker: Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple tasks with efficiency.
- Experience in Media or Advertising: Experience is beneficial but not essential; understanding of these environments will be an asset.
- Organizational Excellence: Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and effective prioritization.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in French, English, and German (C2 level preferred).
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, office management, and video conferencing tools.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal abilities with a positive, professional attitude.
- Responsiveness: Quick to grasp instructions and adapt to varying situations.
- Sound Judgment and Maturity: Capable of making thoughtful decisions under pressure, while handling confidential matters with discretion.
