Personal Healthcare Assistant (Howth)
We are seeking a person to assist an IWA service user with daily tasks in a part-time capacity. This role is ideal for someone living near the Sutton or Howth area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support mobility and transfers using a hoist.
- Assist with personal care (hoisting, bathing, dressing, toileting).
- Assist with morning routines and exercises.
- Help with meal preparation and general daily tasks.
- Driving service users car.
Schedule & Flexibility (Weekends):
Saturday 8:00am start (5 hours)
Sunday 8:00am start (5 hours)
* with potential for less hours or additional hours.
* Options to discuss schedules based on availability. e.g 2 or 3 weekends per month etc

Compensation and Terms:
- Standard hourly rate: €15.39 - €17.11, with annual increases
- Rates before 8am and after 8pm: €19.24 per hour
- Sunday rate: €23.09 per hour
- Public Holiday rate: €30.78 per hour
- Opportunity for consistent, or flexible hours
Note - this is a HSE provider funded position, through the Irish Wheelchair Association Leader Service.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: €15.39-€23.09 per hour
