Personal Assistant / Care Assistant

Part-time, regular weekly hours

We are looking for reliable Personal Assistants / Care Assistants to support a 40 year old wheelchair user to live an independent life.

The role involves personal care, daily routines, social activities, food preparation, light exercise support, assistance with independence, and light household tasks. Opportunity for extra private paid overseas travel with the client if interested.

Previous experience supporting someone with a disability is NOT essential. Experience with spinal cord injury, manual handling, or personal care would be a strong advantage.

Applicants can apply for one role or a combination of roles.

Shifts available:

1/ Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday:
07:00 to 13:00

2/ Weekend - Every or Alternate

Saturday and Sunday:
08:00 to 15:00

Requirements

• Comfortable with personal care
• Reliable, and punctual
• Good problem-solving skills
• Interest in health, and exercise
• Must have a valid Irish drivers license
• Must have the legal right to work in Ireland

Compensation and Terms:

• Standard hourly rate: €16.22 - €18.03, depending on experience
• Rates before 8am and after 8pm: €20.26 - €22.54 per hour
• Sunday rate: €24.32 - €27.05 per hour
• Public Holiday rate: €32.42 - €36.06 per hour
• Opportunity for consistent, or flexible hours or weekend hours
• Holiday pay - 8% of hours worked
• Training will be provided by the Irish wheelchair Association

Pay: €16.22-€27.05 per hour
