Job description
Seeking a lawyer with 1+ years of experience in personal injury law, particularly in accident benefits; experience in insurance defence litigation and Tort is a plus.

Responsibilities
- Case Management & Client Communication: Manage files from intake to resolution, conduct regular file reviews, and maintain clear communication with clients with a compassionate approach.
- Evidence & Documentation: Gather evidence, assess damages, document injuries and expenses, and review medical records to support claims.
- Legal Drafting & Research: Draft pleadings, motions, memoranda, and legal documents; assist with legal research and support senior lawyers as needed.
- Court & Procedural Preparation: Prepare for and attend court and tribunal Proceedings, Mediations, Pre-trials, Examinations for Discoveries, and Settlement Conferences, ensuring all necessary documentation is filed and organized.
Qualifications
- Legal Experience: 1+ years in personal injury, accident benefits, or insurance defence litigation (Tort).
- Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to communicate and build relationships with clients, legal professionals, and court staff.
- Legal Writing & Analysis: Skilled in analyzing legal issues and drafting clear, concise legal documents.
- Organization & Efficiency: Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and able to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Client Focus & Legal Knowledge: Empathetic, client-focused, and stays current with relevant laws and legal procedures.
