Job Description:
Canadian Business College is looking for an enthusiastic, creative and dedicated instructor who has strong communication and interpersonal skills to teach the Personal Support Worker program. The instructor will be required to teach theory and practice.
Responsibilities Include:
- Assisting students through lecture, group work and some hands on experience; administer labs in person; proctor exams in person
- Administer exams and assignments as well as grade student work following the CBC academic policy and NACC guidelines
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Relevant work experience in a Canadian clinical environment
- Great communication skills (verbal and written)
- Previous teaching experience is always an asset
Qualifications:
- Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) with current registration and no practice restrictions with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO);
- must present with a minimum of two (2) years current, relevant work experience in a Canadian clinical environment, preferably in a long-term care/community/chronic care setting;
- Must be authorized to work in Canada
Note: we are hiring for a day position. Start date: November 17, 2025
Day Schedule : 9:00 AM-1:00 PM (Monday-Friday)
Important Note: This will be a hybrid role as all labs and exams need to be conducted in person at the North York Campus. Tuesday's and Thursday in-campus.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $27.00-$30.00 per hour
Work Location: Hybrid remote in North York, ON M2J 5A9
