About us

Perkins Goodbye Hugs Pet Cremation Service is a 5-Star Pet Crematory serving the greater Wilmington and surrounding areas for over 15 years. We currently have an opening for a full-time crematory operator/driver. Experience is preferred but not required, on the job training will be provided. This position leads to a management position. Candidates must be compassionate, comfortable working with deceased animals and able to lift up to 50 lbs. Preferable experience includes logistics, working with heavy machinery and customer service. Employment with our company includes room for growth and benefits after one year.

The Primary responsibility will be running the crematory. Occasional driving to and from veterinary clinics and customer homes. Some customer service as needed. Occasional nights and weekends may be required.

Requirements:

• Experience with Heavy Machinery & Industrial Workspace
• Clean driving record
• Clean criminal history
• Customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
• Capability to load and unload at least 50lbs safely and efficiently
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
