Full-Time Pet Groomer

The Animal Den Pet Resort is looking for an experienced, dependable Full-Time Pet Groomer.

This is an excellent opportunity for a groomer who enjoys working independently and takes pride in the quality of their work.

You groom—we handle the business side. Our front desk team manages appointments, scheduling, payments, and client inquiries. You can focus on what you do best: grooming and caring for the pets.

You will work independently, but you won't be without support. Our staff is available to assist with animal handling when needed, and our team handles the heavy daily salon cleaning.

What We're Looking For

• Previous professional grooming experience of 3+ years is required
• Must be able to independently complete full grooms from start to finish
• Strong knowledge of breed-specific grooming and a variety of coat types
• Confident and compassionate animal handling skills
• Able to safely work with nervous, elderly, or special-needs pets
• Dependable, organized, and able to manage your time independently
• Takes pride in producing quality work and providing excellent care

Your Responsibilities

• Professional bathing, drying, brushing, trimming, and styling
• Nail trimming and ear cleaning
• Safe and compassionate handling of every pet
• Maintaining a clean and organized grooming workspace
• Communicating professionally with clients when needed regarding grooming preferences or special instructions

Schedule & Compensation

• Full-time, 5 days per week
• Weekend availability required — Saturday or Sunday
• 50–55% commission based on experience, plus tips
• W-2 employee
• We provide salon products, dryers, grooming tables, bandannas, and uniforms
• We cover the cost of sharpening services
• Staff assistance available when needed
• Heavy daily salon cleaning is handled by our team

Important: Employees may not bring personal pets to work during their shifts. If bringing your own pet to work is a requirement for you, this position will not be a good fit.
