Job Title: Part-Time Pharmacy Assistant

Job Summary:
We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and detail-oriented Part-Time Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, assist with daily pharmacy operations, and support the pharmacist in delivering efficient and professional care to patients.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and assist them in a professional and courteous manner
• Receive and process prescriptions under the supervision of the pharmacist
• Enter patient and prescription information accurately into the pharmacy system
• Prepare prescription labels and assist with prescription workflow
• Answer phone calls and direct inquiries appropriately
• Assist with cashier duties and process payments
• Manage inventory, stock shelves, and monitor expiry dates
• Receive and organize pharmacy orders
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy area
• Help resolve customer concerns and escalate clinical questions to the pharmacist
• Follow pharmacy policies, procedures, and confidentiality standards

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a pharmacy or retail healthcare setting is an asset
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Comfortable using computers and pharmacy software
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends, is an asset

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Legally eligible to work in Canada
• Experience with Fillware or other pharmacy software is an asset
