We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our healthcare team. Duties

• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently.
• Provide exceptional patient care by answering questions and addressing concerns regarding medications.
• Maintain inventory of pharmaceuticals, ensuring that stock levels are adequate and that medications are stored properly.
• Utilize medical terminology to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and patients.
• Support medication administration processes, including the preparation of medication for administration by healthcare staff.
• Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations and standards, including safety protocols.
• Perform clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and managing prescription records.

Experience

• Previous experience as a Pharmacy Assistant using Kroll in a Canadian Pharmacy is required
• Familiarity with medical terminology is highly desirable.
• Experience in a hospital setting is advantageous, particularly in understanding the workflow of medication administration.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to providing excellent patient care are essential. Chinese speaking will be an asset
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
