Who we are: Helios Laboratories is a state of the art sterile and non-sterile compounding facility located in Markham, ON. We prepare compounded medications for patients, pharmacies, prescribers, and clinics.

Job Description:

• Support pharmacists and technicians in creating quotes for compounded medication prescriptions
• Ensure the accurate and timely processing of prescriptions
• Assist with Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, and compounding staff.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare providers
• Communicate with client pharmacies via phone or email with professionalism
• Maintaining confidentiality with patient information
• Fully Remote Position, but coming into the office for training and updates when needed
• 6 Months contract with potential to renew

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of Pharmacy Assistant experience with compounding as an asset
• The ability to organize and manage multiple priorities with professionalism and tact
• Ability to handle fast-paced situations, adapt to changes in a professional manner
• Ability to respect and preserve patient/client confidentiality
• Ability to communicate with other healthcare professionals in a professional, businesslike manner
• Proficient written and oral communication
• Knowledge of Kroll Pharmacy Management software is required
• Proficiency using technology and computers
• Strong attention to detail with commitment to accuracy
• Current enrollment as a first-year Pharmacy Technician student is an asset
• Must be flexible with scheduling work hours

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

• pharmacy: 2 years (preferred)
